Microsoft Outlook has been the de-facto standard in commercial email since its first guise in 1997. Although it is mainly regarded as an email application it has a wide variety of features that enable business to collaborate and communicate effectively.

Outlook can be run as a standalone application or can be connected to Microsoft's award winning Exchange Server which enhances Outlook to be a collaboration tool for your organisation.

Desktop Outlook

If you use Outlook at the moment you will find using Hosted Outlook a breeze. Simply start up Outlook, login and voila you're connected to your hosted mailbox. All of your emails, calendar items, contacts and tasks are synchronised and stored both on the hosted Exchange and on your local PC. This means that if you don't have access to a network connection for any reason, you can still view all previously synchronised items. Being disconnected shouldn't literally mean that, and it doesn't, you can still create new messages, appointments and tasks and the next time you synchronise, your emails will be delivered and all other items created on the Exchange.

Outlook Web Access

Never be without that email again. Outlook Web Access or OWA for short, allows you to log onto your Hosted Outlook account using any web browser anywhere in the world. You can do everything that Desktop Outlook does and is as easy and intuitive as its desktop sibling.

Mobile Outlook

For those of you who are constantly on the go, our Hosted Outlook services also allow you to receive your emails, contacts and calendars to your PDA or Smartphone. Simply set up a synchronisation using ActiveSync or alternatively configure Push Mail so that you receive all of your emails as they are delivered to your email account.
