PIGMI stands for
- People - The types of people you are targeting e.g. Directors, Managers, Mums, Dads, Teachers etc.
- Individuals - People's ages, locations, areas of interest etc.
- Groups - Can the people and individuals be grouped in any way?
- Members - Are the people, individuals or groups members of organisations or websites e.g. IOD, Chamber of Commerce, Facebook and MySpace?
- Industry - Which sectors of business are you targeting?
PIGMI is a segmentation method and is used to uncover the target audiences of your online content.
GLUE stands for
- Gather intelligence - Collect information from clients and prospects for analysis and refinement of PIGMI analysis.
- Link to partners - Link to partner websites and get partner and affiliate websites to link to you
- Ubiquitous access - Ensure website and online content is available to as many users as possible. e.g. ensure websites work in all major web browsers, ensure emails can be viewed in all email software and web-ware packages such as MSN Mail and Gmail.
